I'm new...
On Wednesday nights, Jr. High and High School students attend our very active Youth Group for dinner, games and bible study, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Our Four:Twelve (4:12) Group is for ages 6 - 11 years old. Four:Twelve is in reference to 1st Timothy 4:12 ..."don't let others look down on you for being young." 4:12 visits the Pumpkin Patch each year for an afternoon of family fun. All in all, we simply enjoy having fun and being together in christian fellowship.
Our Kid's Club meet on a quarterly basis for special events such as a visit to the Pumpkin Patch in the fall, a "wet and wild" after church activity during the summer, or a visit to a local amusement park.
Sunday School classes for all ages meet every Sunday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
Message from the Pastor:
Our Sunday mornings are designed around honoring God with our presence and in that manner we offer a relaxed feel to Sunday School and Worship where dress is casual and the atmosphere is one of a family. We want everyone to feel welcome in our building and so we try not to single out visitors beyond simply introducing ourselves through a greeter in the entryway. Worship has a casual feel while using a traditional format of worship with children's moment, communion, choir singing, scripture reading and sermon.
We want you to know that we understand how hard it is to find a church where you feel comfortable and not overrun when you visit and we try to walk that line by being friendly, but not overbearing in our efforts to greet you. If you wish to give us an email or mailing address we will send out a welcome letter with a newsletter so you can get a better feel of what Woodridge Christian Church is all about.
